Dr. Dhruvachandra Goutam

After reading this epic (the Departure of Time), it is known that Gopal Parajuli is established as a unique poet of today. Now that book is waiting for its release. As I read the book, I saw more accurate expressions from other senior writers about the poet Gopal Parajuli. Krishna Gautam has said that Gopal Parajuli is Devkota and Mohan Koirala of the present age. Narayan Dhakal states that Gopal Parajuli is the creator of the most creatively active and offensive poetry by taking the bridle of time. The departure of time is also a symbolic declaration of today. Here, the understanding of time is the central feel of his entire composition process. The reflection of the tragedy that has happened in recent times has been a major feature of the poem, presenting a new definition of man's inner desires, a multidimensional interpretation of the phenomena, and finally the search for a new humanity.

Yuvraj Ghimire writes that the departure of time has raised questions and dilemmas of me and many others. Ramesh Gorkhali thinks Gopal Parajuli is one of the most highly expressive epic laureate poets of modern Nepali literature. Krishna Dharavasi writes that the consciousness of time is highest in poet Gopal Parajuli. Thakur Parajuli writes that The Departure of Time, on the one hand, seeks to signify the dire consequences of divine destiny and human tragedy through the symbolic images of Narayanhiti and the Pentagon, while on the other, the abuses of political vitality and the pursuit of humanitarian autonomy, which has led to the abuses of humanity and freedom. Krishna Chandra Singh has written in his background that Parajuli, who has a special interest in the experiment , is well-known as a literary pioneer in the process of giving new garments. In another background, author Jayraj Acharya considers this poem by Gopal Parajuli as a interacting epic like questionnaire.  In the eyes of Dr.  Banira Giri, Gopal Parajuli himself is a epic warrior.

In his statement, poet Gopal Parajuli has clearly explained the essence of his poetry. There are some good expressions in his opinion Lumbini without Budha is nothing except the history. The poet is looking for a place of emotion to live. He is being in the emotions.  He wants to share his experiences of sorrow with the world. By the neutrality of the poem, the poet is trying to invent a fearless world in the poem. Whatever poet be in his voice, he wants to be through the medium of poem. The poet is looking at the poet's own feelings of man. The poet, who is refusing to see the heaven after death, is trying to be in the pleasure of poetic sorrow even though his poems hurt him.

The above expressions are a partial expression of the poet's space and time. These expressions can be traced back to what the poet has tried to deliver in the Departure of Time. In the words of Krishna Chandra, poet Gopal Parajuli is associated with the question in the poem. In a way, many things have been questioned in today's age. This question of Gopal Parajuli has come out being a powerful poetic question. This question has been asked over time, with God, or with humanity as a whole. In the question there is not only a query but also is rebellion and frustration. Divided into the 16 chapters, the poet is also exploring the conviction in the last pages of the epic.

The poet has struck the time of today with great sentiment and aggressive gesture.

With eloquent words, Gopal Parajuli's 'The Departure of Time' time has been fulfilled. Gopal Parajuli is a tireless practitioner of literature who serenely completing his powerful poetry journey. His epic-journey has passed a great deal of time. In each epic, he is achieving a new height. The Departure of Time has come being an example of the same height he has attained. It is the genuine and excellent poem. The publication of this poem has not only increased the personal height of poet Gopal Parajuli, but also has the experience of moving further step of Nepali epic. The Departure of Time has become a memorable document of the time.
