The Mother-Figure is the appealing explosive epic work where the poet Parajuli opens the outlet to the expressions of volcanoes hidden in the heart of the people. Without any phrasal decoration, the poet Gopal Parajuli has clearly stated the suffocations of all people affected by existing huge corruption and confusion of the contemporary political, social, economic, religious and cultural spheres. Today, the country is suffered not only from the various problems but also is in a crisis of existence. Thus, and this work has become an accurate record of it. The poet appeals on behalf of all people rather than from himself.
Country of warriors
My country
Waiting for another warrior
The above-mentioned appealing expressions or uproar shout-out is the abstract and original tone of the epic. This is the original voice of all the countrymen today- We need a strong warrior against the incompetent and cowardice of the present, who can conquer all the evil, adultery and corruption prevailing in the country.
Similarly, while bringing highly emotional voice and speaking of peoples' voice, epic style of Gopal Parajuli's simple style has been aesthetically without any complex elliptical symbols. Here, the personality of the poet is intimated with the personality of the whole country. The poet looks like as simple, gentle and calm as the countryman; a similar volcano is hidden in the countryman's heart. But for the country, the poet blasted this latent volcano with poetic expression. He not only bursts volcanoes, also appeals the higher man for the welfare.
Gopal Parajuli is currently the artistic and well-known signature of Nepali literature. He has contributed to all three genres of poetry, fiction and drama, and has enriched all three genres with a unique style of original craftsmanship, novel presentation and expression. Unlike other poets, other narrators, and other playwrights, he is uniquely well-known. His book is thoroughly readable, understandable and collectible. The Mother-Figure is a remarkable achievement of Nepali poetry world.
